2026 Conference News

We are looking forward to welcoming you all to Winnipeg on October 15-17.

If you are delivering a presentation, please plan to speak for 15 minutes, if you are on a panel of four people, or 20 minutes, if you are on a panel of three. This will allow for about 30 minutes of questions and discussions once the presentations are concluded. Your chair/moderator will be responsible for keeping the session running on time.

Each room will have a projector, and the computer should be compatible with most standard software. If you think your presentation might have special requirements, please get in touch.  

If you signed up for the Thursday visit to the Saint Boniface Historical Society, we will be in touch separately about that visit.

Dinner on Friday night is not included in the registration package. Several of the conference organizers will be heading over to the Forks at around 18h30, if you are looking for conference company.

We will be holding our Banquet and Awards on Saturday night. This is a ticketed event. The opportunity to buy tickets will close on September 28 (along with registration), so please purchase your tickets before then, if you would like to attend.

NOTE: It has come to our attention that some members are not receiving our emails. We recommend the following:
